I THINK THE SLATE SOUNDS GREAT
I AM NOT A COMPUTER GURU CONECTING TO THE INTERNET IS NOT REAL CLEAR
SOME TABLETS HAVE 3G AND WIFI BUILT IN , IF THIS SLATE DOSE NOT HAVE THESE ITS NOT VERY MOBILE OR DO YOU NEED A MOBILE MODEM LIKE NORMAL PC.

I absolutely hate Twitter for doing this. It was probably one of the best apps ever on Android and I'd been so eagerly waiting for an update. Although, after Tweetdeck's acquisition, I had my doubts over it's future, I certainly didn't think that it'd be completely killed off on the mobile side. Such a shame!

I have one and I think it is great. It is the first tablet that is a truly a laptop replacement. I also use it as my desk top, connecting it to a port replicator that runs three monitors, a keyboard, mouse, printer, network connection, speakers, headset, microphone and camera. Handwriting recognition is great without training it.

The only accessory I would like to have is a portfolio case that has a built in keyboard. See this link for a sample made for an iPad:

If you know of a place that sells the folio case with a built in keyboard, post it here. I will buy the product. I already have a portable keyboard and mouse, but they would not be as convenient as having them built into the portfolio.

Its worth mentioning that if you know someone near a microsoft store in the US you can score the upspec 128GB/Win7Pro model for $980 + about $100 for delivery, or order online and use a delivery service (such as shipito.com) and get it landed in AUS for $1380....with Samsungs international warranty.

Its true that PSP still alive,but PSP stopped their production for US and other nation. There are numerous reasons for it.. I only say that Nintendo would be beaten PSP as well.

Hi Rie, you'll need to follow the instructions a little more carefully. Read step 1 in the article. You must have root access prior to using titanium and prior to moving to gingerbread using the above method. You can get root access using superoneclick, linked above.

If you don't know what root is I suggest doing a google and reading a little beforehand.

I recommend you read the rom instructions on xda prior to following through with this as well. My write up is only an overview, and not the complete process.

As a side note, titanium backup will only backup your apps - it won't backup your rom.

If you believe you'll want to return to your old rom, I suggest not going through with this gingerbread procedure, as it can be difficult to go back.

Remember to follow ALL THE STEPS!

Thanks for your advices. I tried to use Titanimum Backup (Free) to backup my Tab but It says My Tab is not rooted !!!. I have no idea about it. Please tell me which one is the best for backup in case I might get back to prior rom !! Thanks

Hi Matt, I'll be upfront: I am unaware of a way to un-root the tab after installing gingerbread, but to be sure, I strongly recommend asking the folks at XDA. Rooting is obviously a required part of the process to get it to gingerbread, and I believe all the gingerbread images have root pre-installed.

That said, it is relatively easy to return the tab back to its stock state for warranty purposes. Again to do so, I recommend reading some of the posts on XDA regarding return to froyo. It does require wiping everything again, along with repartitioning.

Any specific reason why you want to remove root once getting to gingerbread?

Everything works brilliantly. I definitely recommend giving it a shot.

The re-stocking procedure is a rom taken straight from Samsung, but with root and rom manager pre-installed.
